India Water Portal is offering 10 fellowships for writers, journalists, and visual storytellers interested in documenting India’s relationship with water. Fellows will uncover underreported water stories covering people, places, livelihoods, cultures, and innovations from across the country. Two tracks are available:
Written Storytelling Fellowship
• 6 fellowships (3 English | 3 Hindi)
• Reported articles, essays, long-form features, and narrative storytelling
Visual Storytelling Fellowship
• 4 fellowships
• Video reports, photo essays, and other visual storytelling formats
Fellowship Details
Duration: 6 months
Stipend: ₹25,000 per month + travel allowance
